The Kodigehalli police in Bengaluru have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against a radiologist who owns a diagnostic centre in the area, following a complaint by a 30-year-old woman who worked at the facility. She has alleged that the doctor drugged and sexually assaulted her, recorded the assault, and subsequently blackmailed and assaulted her multiple times.
According to the complaint filed by the woman, Yuvaraj Manohar allegedly sexually assaulted her on December 15, 2025, while she was at work at his diagnostic centre, and recorded the assault on video.
The complainant alleged that the accused gave her tablets that caused her to lose consciousness while she was at work. When she regained consciousness, she found herself without clothes and questioned the doctor, she alleged. Manohar then threatened to upload the video on social media, according to her complaint.
She further alleged that he used the video to blackmail her and sexually assaulted her multiple times over the following months, allegedly on the promise that he would marry her.
The survivor also alleged that the accused arranged a rented house for her in Amruthnagar, where he repeatedly assaulted her.
According to the complaint, on July 2, Manohar allegedly abused her using caste-based slurs after learning that she belonged to a Scheduled Caste community. She also alleged that he told her she would not be allowed to continue working at his company.
“After coming to know my caste, he not only refused to marry me but also threatened to make the videos and the photographs of our intimate moments public,” the survivor said in her complaint.
