Dhanush and Selvaraghavan, who had previously worked together in films such as Kadhal Kondein, Pudhupettai and Mayakkam Enna, are set to join hands for the fourth time as reports have emerged that the brothers will work on a new project will be produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu which is currently dubbed as D41.
Recently, it was reported that Yuvan Shankar Raja is most likely to be signed for this yet-untitled project. However, according to sources, the makers have roped in Sean Roldan to compose music for the film. The trio has given many memorable films Thulluvadho Ilamai, Kadhal Kondein, Pudhupettai and Yaaradi Nee Mohini, and the expectations were raised as this film was expected to mark the return of the combo after 8 long years. But this news has come as a huge disappointment for Dhanush-Selva-Yuvan combo fans.
It is said Sean Roldan and Selva have already started working on the tunes and have completed two songs. This project will mark the third-time collaboration for Sean Roldan with Dhanush as he had already teamed up with the actor for VIP-2 and Power Pandi.
Dhanush is currently awaiting the release of Vetrimaran's Asuran, which is set to hit the screens this week. Based on Tamil novel Vekkai, Dhanush will be essaying dual roles as father and son. The film also stars Manju Warrier in her maiden Kollywood appearance.
Dhanush is currently shooting for his next with Karthik Subbaraj in London. Believed to be an action thriller with gangster elements, the film features Aishwarya Lekshmi as the leading lady. He is expected to wrap up his work on this project and then join the sets of Pariyarum Perumal fame Mari Selvaraj's film which will be completed by February or March 2020.
The actor also has Durai Senthil Kumar’s Pataas in the post-production stage. The film will feature Dhanush in dual roles. The father portion featuring Dhanush will have actor Sneha as his pair and Mehreen Pirzada has been signed as Dhanush’s pair for the son’s role.
