Popular Kollywood composer, Yuvan Shankar Raja, is set to make his debut in Sandalwood. The talented music director has announced that his first film in Kannada will have debutant Rachan Chandra playing the lead role.
The younger son of maestro Ilayaraja, Yuvan began his career in 1997 with Aravindan and has received critical acclaim for his works since then. Although this is Yuvan’s debut in a film made first in Kannada, he’s not new to the film industry, and is known for scores in remakes and dubbed versions of Tamil films.
Yuvan has also established himself as a music director in the Telugu film industry and has scored music for a couple of Malayalam films as well.
The actor tweeted about the film recently, calling his time on the movie, “Happy Times”.
