Following in the footsteps of actors such as Nayanthara, Trisha, and Anjali, who have successfully aced the horror genre with a bevy of films it’s Tamannaah Bhatia's turn to jump on the bandwagon after tasting success with Devi franchise.

According to the industry grapevine, Tamannaah has signed a horror-comedy flick with director Rohin Venkatesan, best known for helming Adhe Kangal. Tipped to be a heroine-centric horror flick, the film won’t feature a love interest for Tamannaah. The cast also includes Yogi Babu, Muniskanth, Bugs and Manzoor Ali Khan among others.

The project is due to go on the floors in a few weeks. As soon as Tamannaah wraps up her current commitments, she is expected to start shooting. Ghibran has been roped in to score music for the film while Dani Raymond, who shot Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada, has been signed to crank the camera. The crew also includes editor Leo John Paul and art director Vinoth Rajkumar, who worked on Vikram Vedha.

With a slew of projects in her kitty, Tamannaah is looking at a very busy slate with multiple releases. Last seen playing a bank manager who turns blind in Seenu Ramaswamy’s Kanne Kalaimanne, her next big release is going to be most likely the Tamil remake of Queen, in which she has reprised Kangana Ranaut’s role.

Her Devi 2 with Prabhudeva is gearing up for April release. She also plays a crucial role in Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Tamannaah is currently shooting for Sundar C’s film with Vishal.

Earlier this week, it was announced that she has signed yet another project with Vishal. Interestingly, she will be seen playing the antagonist in her second film with Vishal.

Meanwhile, Director Ohmkar has set the ball rolling the third installment of horror comedy Raju Gari Gadhi. He is reportedly in talks with Tamannaah to play the lead role in the film. Sources in the know say that the actor is impressed with the script and has given her nod. However, she is yet to work out on her dates as she has too many projects lined up needing her attention.
