Tamannaah Bhatia on bagging her first Telugu film has reportedly told in a Famously Five episode that it happened while she was writing her board exams. She has been quoted by the mid-day as saying, “After I wrote my board exams, I got a call from Mr Mohan Babu. He called me and told me about this movie. I said, 'Sir, sorry, I'm writing my board exams and I will come to Hyderabad after writing. He said, 'No, we have to do the casting now and announce the film.” And then the team went down to her place to sign her up for the film. Tamannaah added, “It was really sweet of him. He came down with Dashrath Sir. They met me and signed me on for my first Telugu film.”

It may be noted here that Tamannaah is one of the most wanted heroines in the southern film circuit; especially the Tamil and Telugu film industries right now. She currently has Devi 2 in Tamil, which is the sequel to the hit horror flick. Also she has a couple of Telugu films in her kitty – Sye Raa, That is Mahalakshmi and Raju Gari Gadhi 3.

Tamannaah recently flew down to Turkey along with Vishal and the rest of the film unit of her upcoming film. Vishal and Tamannaah had shared the screen space in Kaththi Sandai earlier and Sundar C’s venture will be their second film together. The untitled film, which is being directed by Sundar C, with Vishal and Tamannaah as the lead pair, has been progressing for quite some time now. The makers planned an important schedule, which will go up to 50 days in Turkey and Vishal got injured  severely while riding All-terrain vehicle (ATV)  for an action sequence choreographed by Anbariv, following which the shooting got stalled.
