Australian director Eddi Arya has confirmed that Kiccha Sudeep is very much onboard his Hollywood directorial and he will be playing an Indian character living in New York. The director also went on to add that Sudeep will be shooting abroad for this film and not one scene will be shot in India. It may be mentioned that Sudeep will be debuting in Hollywood with this flick.
Eddie Arya is reported to have told TOI that “Sudeep’s character is that of an Indian who is based in New York. His portions will be shot in New York soon. The choice of keeping an Indian character was a conscious decision to add to the diversity of the characters.”
While fans are waiting eagerly for more information on this project, the director has made it clear that the first look of Sudeep will be revealed very soon and is confident that the star’s fans would simply go gaga over it. About the movie Risen, we hear that it is a sci-fi that deals with a meteorite shower and what happens after it. Apart from Sudeep, the star cast includes a host of other actors of international repute.
Sudeep has had a good year so far with Hebbuli turning out to be a big hit. He is currently busy with the big ticket The Villain which has Shiva Rajkumar sharing the screen space with him for the first time. While The Villain is slated for release late this year, the star also has the sports-based film Phailwan scheduled for release next year. Phailwan will be Sudeep’s first ever sports film and he is undergoing special training in boxing and wrestling to get into the skin of the character.
