
Though Siddharth made his acting debut in the Tamil film industry, he is well known in the Telugu film circuit as well. The star’s acting career came up with an uncredited role in the Mani Ratnam directorial Kannathil Muthamitaal and then in Shankar’s Boys. Since then he has acted in a number of films across various film industries.
However, his last outing in the Telugu film industry was with the horror flick Gruham in 2017. It has been two years since he has acted in a Telugu film and now the actor has come up with an announcement that he will be soon staging a comeback.
Siddharth had tweeted: “Evadu emanna nenu thirugi osthanu le. Please note this promise down. I will at the very least try my best to please my #Telugu audience once again. Give me 18 months prayakshakulaara. I will not let you down. A lot of great content on the way. Maatladkundhaam.”
Last year, Siddharth made his debut in the Malayalam film industry with Kammara Sambhavam. Rathish Ambat had directed the film with Gokulam Gopalan producing the film under his banner Sree Gokulam Movies.
Dileep plays the titular role, Kammaran Nambiar in this flick while Siddharth ventured into the Malayalam film industry with Kammara Sambhavam. He played the character Othenan Nambiar and his look in it garnered a lot of attention.
The actor is currently busy with the Hindi film Chhichhore and his next Tamil release will be Aruvam. Aruvam is a horror comedy film written and directed by Sai Sekar. The film stars Siddharth, Catherine Tresa playing the lead pair with Sathish, Aadukalam Naren and Kaali Venkat in supporting roles. S Thaman has been roped in as music director for the film while cinematography and editing are handled by N. K. Ekambaram and Praveen K. L. respectively.
