Rachita Ram will soon be foraying into the Telugu film industry. The actor from Sandalwood has bagged the female lead role in Super Machi which will have megastar Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law Kalyan Dev as the hero. Directed by Puli Vasu, the film will have music by S Thaman. The shooting of Super Machi has begun already with the lead stars joining the sets. 

On signing the film, Rachita had told in an interview to The Times of India, “I have signed a film opposite Kalyan Dev, Chiranjeevi sir’s son-in-law, titled Super Machi, which will be directed by Puli Vasu. The film has music by S Thaman. I will begin shooting for the film from Monday.”

Rachita Ram was last seen in the Kannada movie Ayushmann Bhava. It had Shiva Rajkumar in the lead role, with veteran actors Prabhu and Suhasini Mani Ratnam playing pivotal roles. Rachita Ram was seen playing Shiva Rajkumar’s heroine and had Nidhi Subbiah in an important role. The star cast also included Ananth Nag, Sadhu Kokila, and Rangayana Raghu in supporting roles. The technical crew of Ayushman Bhava comprised Guru Kiran for music, Gautham Raju for editing and PKH Doss for cinematography. The film was bankrolled by B. S. Dwarakish and Yogish Dwarakish Bunggale under the banner Dwarakish Chitra.

Rachita Ram has a host of Kannada movies in her kitty in different stages of production including Ek Love Ya. It is a romantic action film written and directed by Prem and produced by Rakshita under the banner Rakshita Film Factory. The film features Rakshita's brother Raanna as the lead, with Reshma as his love interest. Rachita Ram will be seen playing a key role in it. Music director Arjun Janya is composing music with cinematography by Mahendra Simha and editing by Srinivas P Babu.
