Rumours about Anup Bhandari being in talks with Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar have been doing the rounds for quite a while now. Director Anup Bhandari has now confirmed that the star has indeed okayed the storyline he had narrated and he will be working on it further. Anup Bhandari’s actor-brother Nirup Bhandari will also be a part of the project.
Speaking to Times of India about it, Anup said, “Talks about this project have been on for a while, and now with the basic storyline approved, Nirup and I will be working on the screenplay. As of now, Nirup is also working on another film, and Puneeth has his schedule full too. We hope to have the screenplay ready by the time our main actors are ready to shoot.” Yet to be titled, the film is touted to be an action adventure.
In the meantime, Puneeth is gearing up for the release of Raajakumara. The film is slated to hit the silver screens on March 24. Directed by Santhosh Ananddram, the film is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner Hombale Films. Priya Anand is paired with Puneeth in the film.
