
Director P Vasu and Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar are collaborating for the second time, creating a lot of expectations among their fans. While their first outing Shivalinga was a big hit, this time they are associating for a film with the working title Anand.
According to reports doing rounds, veteran actors Prabhu and Suhasini Mani Ratnam have been roped in to play important roles in this flick. However, their roles are being kept a secret for now.
A major portion of the shooting has been completed and reports are that a 16-day final schedule is being planned. The climax portions of Anand and one song will be canned in Mangaluru while a fight sequence in Madikeri. There are also plans to film a train scene in Hyderabad.
Rachita Ram is playing Shiva Rajkumar’s heroine in this film and Nidhi Subbiah will be seen in an important role. The technical crew of Anand includes Guru Kiran for music and PKH Doss for cinematography.
In the meantime, Shiva Rajkumar is busy with Rustum, which is in the final stages of post-production. The film is produced by Jayanna and Bhogendra under the banner Jayanna Combines.
Shraddha Srinath is playing the female lead in it and Mayuri will be seen as Shiva Rajkumar’s sister. A romantic action entertainer, Rustum will have Anoop Seelin scoring the music and Mahendra Simha wielding the camera.
According to reports, Shiva Rajkumar plays a cop in this flick and he will be sporting a new look in it. Though Shiva Rajkumar has appeared as a cop in some films earlier, his role as a police officer in Rustum will be different according to sources.
