A theme song from the Sudeep starrer Phailwan was released some time ago and went viral instantaneously. And now the filmmakers have released a single featuring Suniel Shetty and Sudeep. As it is already well-known that Phailwan will be released in five languages, the song has also been released in all the languages.

The Kannada version of the song, titled ‘Baaro Pailwaan’, is sung by Vijay Prakash, Kailash Kher and Chandan Shetty while the Hindi version, titled ‘Jai Ho Pehlwaan’, has been rendered by Vyas Raj, Dev Negi and Amit Mutreja. The Malayalam version ‘Va Va Pailwaan’ is sung by Deepesh and MC Vicky, and the Tamil version by Blue, Mukesh and MC Vicky with Sai Charan Bhaskaruni and Saketh Komanduri singing the Telugu version. Music for the song has been composed by Arjun Janya with Ganesh Acharya choreographing the dance. Karunakar has cranked the camera for this film.

Produced and directed by S Krishna, Phailwan marks Sudeep’s second time collaboration with the director after the massive success of Hebbuli last year. Incidentally, Krishna’s wife Swapna will be making her debut as a producer with Phailwan by bankrolling it under the banner RRR Productions.

Sudeep plays a boxer and wrestler in this flick and being his first-ever sports drama, he underwent a lot of training to learn the nuances of the martial arts. The actor flew down to Thailand where he underwent rigorous training under the guidance of some experts.

Reports say that the filmmakers will soon be sealing the deal with distributors in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi film industries, with the production house targeting approximately 2,500 screens worldwide. Sources in the know say that three production houses are in the fray to bag the Hindi theatrical rights of the film and an official word will be out once the deal is struck.

Phailwaan caught the attention of film buffs with its teaser some time ago. Reports indicate that all versions of the film will hit the marquee on September 12.
