Despite his already tight schedule, actor Mohanlal is joining the sets of yet another film, called Big Brother. The film comes from director Siddique.
The announcement was made officially when the star posted the title poster and a picture with the director on his social network page. The film will have Mohanlal playing the lead role. Details about the rest of the star cast and crew are yet to be revealed.
Mohanlal has been busy recently with a number of movies needing his attention. Besides the Tamil movie directed by KV Anand in which Suriya is playing the lead role, Mohanlal also has actor Prithiviraj’s maiden directorial Lucifer progressing well, with a few schedules left. After that, he will be moving on to the sets of the Priyadarshan directorial Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham next month onwards. And the crown of it all will be Randamoozham, a VA Shri Kumar directorial which will be made on a budget of Rs 1000 crore. The movie has been caught up in a row with writer MT Vasudevan Nair saying he wants to withdraw his script, and the director declaring the movie will happen anyway.
However, Mohanlal has even otherwise got quite a load on. Add to it, the Siddique movie.
The actor first worked with Siddique for Vietnam Colony in 1992. The film was made by the director duo Siddique and Lal. Later in 2013, Siddique and Mohanlal teamed up for Ladies and Gentlemen. However, the film failed to impress the audiences and did not do too well at the box office.
According to Siddique, Big Brother will be a film with oodles of action and comedy. Reports are that the shooting of the film will commence during early 2019 and will be out at the theatres later in the year.
Meanwhile, Mohanlal’s Odiyan will be hitting the theatres in the month of December, slated for a release on December 14, 2018, a little before Christmas.Odiyan’s trailer released on the same day that Kayamkulam Kochunni, in which Mohanlal plays a cameo role, reached the theatres.
