Tollywood star Mahesh Babu turned 41 in style on Tuesday. Fans and celebrities took to Twitter to wish the Telugu superstar on his birthday.
Mahesh, fondly called Prince of Tollywood by fans, and is known not just for his on-screen style and presence, but also for his philanthropic work off-screen.
The star had a special birthday surprise for his fans, as the production house PVP Cinema announced that it would be collaborating again with Mahesh again on a project to be directed by Vamshi Paidipally.
Director Vamshi, who is basking in the success of "Oopiri" and "Thozha", bankrolled by PVP Cinema, has reportedly narrated a story to Mahesh, who is apparently impressed with it.
The star's last outing directed by Sreekanth Addala and produced under the PVP Cinema banner, “Brahmotsavam” bombed at the box office, which shocked both the actor's fans and critics alike. Following this, Mahesh gave the production house his assurance that he would work on another project to compensate for the losses from “Brahmotsavam”.
Mahesh Babu is currently busy shooting for a bilingual film with AR Murugadoss, which went on the floors recently in Hyderabad.
