Actor Keerthy Suresh married her long-term boyfriend Antony Thattil in Goa on December 11 in a private ceremony. She shared pictures from different wedding rituals on social media on Thursday, December 12. Keerthy recently made their relationship public, when she shared a picture with Antony on November 27 and wrote, “15 years and counting. It has always been…AntoNY x KEerthy ( Iykyk).”
One of the wedding pictures showed the couple with Keerthy’s dog Nyke, an amalgamation of the couple’s names. Keerthy captioned her wedding pictures with the hashtag ForTheLoveOfNyke.
The wedding reportedly involved Iyengar Brahmin rituals. Keerthy wrote a yellow and green saree draped in a way that is typical of Brahmin women (called madisar), for the thaali (or mangalsutra) tying ritual. She also shared pictures from another ceremony in which she wore a red saree.
Many celebrities including Raashii Khanna, Hansika Motwai, Manjima Mohan and others congratulated the couple.
Antony, originally from Kochi, Kerala, is the owner of one of the region's leading resort chains. He is a businessman with multiple ventures in both Kochi and Dubai.
On the work front, Keerthy is all set to make her Bollywood debut alongside Varun Dhawan in Baby John.
