With nearly half a dozen films or even more in his kitty this year, one can’t afford to even waste a single day of call sheet of Vijay Sethupathi because you might not get it again. Unfortunately, the makers of Vada Chennai, thanks to Dhanush hopping between projects, have missed using Vijay Sethupathi’s dates on three occasions, forcing the Soodhu Kavvum actor to exit the project. While the team has denied the reports of his apparent exit, sources close to the project have confirmed that he was left with no other option than to walk out.
“Vijay had already given his dates thrice, yet the makers kept postponing the shoot for the sake of Dhanush. Having recently completed his portion for Vikram-Vedha, Vijay Sethupathi his expected to change his look for his new project with Paneer Selvam, and hence, he had to walk out of Vada Chennai, much to the surprise of the whole team,” a source said.
It was recently announced that the film’s second schedule will commence from March, and it will be the longest one of the film. Before coming back to the sets, Dhanush will wrap his portion on VIP 2 and also try and complete his directorial debut, Power Paandi.
