Author Chetan Bhagat seems to feel that the Delhi government's proposal, to exempt women only cars from the odd-even rule that will be implemented in Delhi for two weeks, is unfair to men.
On Thursday, the Five Point Someone author tweeted,
So odd-even rule doesn't apply to women only cars, for safety. Because men, you know, can never be robbed, attacked, feel unsafe or killed.

It did not take long for those, who did not agree with his views, to troll him and counter his logic.
.@chetan_bhagat Sir Donald Trump sent a message for you, he is very proud of you for playing his role in India.

.@chetan_bhagat Maybe when public transport+streets aren't perpetual sites of harassment for women, we can talk gender-neutral legislation.

However, when Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal retweeted a few tweets which were made against Bhagat, the author said that in doing so the CM was "tacitly" encouraging the trolls.
Dear CM, instead of retweeting my trolls, why not respectfully discuss apprehensions people may have on a scheme? pic.twitter.com/Z7XXcw6Yhz
— Chetan Bhagat (@chetan_bhagat) December 10, 2015
Tolerant mob attacking me. Because I expressed reservations about a scheme. Just FYI.
— Chetan Bhagat (@chetan_bhagat) December 10, 2015
Dear CM, when you retweet trolls making personal attacks on me,you tacitly encourage them. And that's what they are doing right now. Thanks.
