As Cheran said when Vanitha got eliminated last week, he was the one to leave the show this week. Finally, his second stint at the Bigg Boss Tamil house ended. Kavin, Sherin, Cheran and Lousliya faced the public vote, which ended up with Cheran getting evicted. With just 14 days left for the grand finale, the strength of the house is now 6.
Revealing who was safe and who was eliminated, host Kamal Haasan first revealed that Sherin was safe and later disclosed that Kavin was safe too. Later he asked Cheran and Losliya to come to a room nearby and open the cover. It was then revealed that Cheran was the one who got eliminated. He was asked to come directly to the stage from where he motivated the remaining contestants. Cheran’s father said he was super proud of his son.
The week started with the contestants missing Vanitha’s cooking. Bigg Boss announced that the week was all about ‘Ticket to finale’ tasks where the winner of multiple tasks (based on points) would get a direct ticket to the finale.
A series of tasks were given to the contestants to get selected as a Direct Finalist. The first was a balloon task which was won by Tharshan. In the second task, the contestants were asked to rank all the housemates and explain why. Tharshan and Mugen were chosen by most of the contestants whereas Kavin came last. In the third task, the contestants were asked to name two other contestants based on a few negative questions, such as who was manipulative and so on. Cheran won the task.
In this week several issues popped up between the contestants during the ‘Ticket to finale’ task. All was not well between Sherin and Kavin during one task. In the Egg task, Kavin and Losliya misunderstood that Sandy was helping Tharshan and Mugen to win the task. This led to a fight and Kavin broke his egg to end the contest.
Mugen got the highest points from all the tasks and won the ticket to the finale. He thus became the first contestant to get into the grand finale. During the weekend episode, Kamal conferred the medal to Mugen and appreciated Mugen’s loyalty as well. He also lauded Tharshan-Mugen’s approach towards the game. Then Kamal talked about the Kavin-Losliya-Sandy friendship-war in brief and advised them to play the game by keeping their emotions aside.
Meanwhile, on Sunday Losliya was seen feeling low. She talked to Bigg Boss in the confession room about how she kept hurting her close ones. Bigg Boss cheered her up and asked her to play the game well.
