Baahubali: The Conclusion, which recently became the first Indian move to earn Rs 1000 crore worldwide has achieved another milestone. In just three weeks since its release, it has gone on to earn Rs 1500 crore in worldwide box office collections.
The earnings have accrued from all four languages including Karan Johar’s dubbed Hindi version.
According to Ramesh Bala, a movie industry tracker, the total earnings of the movie up to Wednesday are Rs 1475 crore.
The film collected Rs 975 crore in India and Rs 275 crore overseas. In the opening week, the film earned Rs 534 crore which included Rs 247 crore in Hindi while the Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam versions earned Rs 287 crore.
On May 7, 2017, the film had entered the Rs 100 crore club.
The movie which stars Prabhas, Anoushka Shetty, Tamannah and Rana Dagubatti has been creating waves ever since it released on April 28, 2017.
Audiences have been left awestruck by the movie’s grand picturization and visual splendour.
In the wake of the film’s success, the franchise is now set to become a television show which will be aired on Star Plus, according to the Indian Express.
