Actor Siddharth is in the news for his tweets again, after he recently hit out at people who used their phones in movie theatres between a film.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote "If you tweet while watching a film... Clearly you have to choose one screen for your brain. Which one is it? The film or your stupid phone?"
The actor, who is known not to mince words, also hit out at movie critics saying "It's fine if you review a film as soon as you watch it. But live tweeting?"

It's fine for everyone with a phone to call him/herself a critic. It's fine if you review a film as soon as you watch it. But live tweeting?

Lastly, if you like a film, praise it. Don't like, say you don't like it. But telling audiences to avoid a film? Low blow. Stop. #respect

If you see a smart phone on in the cinema for long spells of time, boo the owner. It's a dark hall for your experience. You've paid for it.

In July, Siddharth, after the brutal murder of Swathi, a techie in Chennai by an alleged stalker at the Nungambakkam railway station, had said that Kollywood has been “selling a terrible dream”.
"The truth is a lot of stalking in real life is inspired by what we show in our films. Too many examples of justification," he wrote.
