A massive sandstorm engulfed Jordan a few days ago and caused a near blackout condition across the country.
A video that has emerged of the storm at the Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, captured the sandstorm's approach as it completely blocked out visibility, even swallowing massive planes that were a few feet in front of the camera.
The video was originally posted on Facebook by Amen 89.5, the radio arm of Jordan's Public Security Directorate and seems to have been shot from the airport's hangar.
The fierce storm reportedly grounded airplanes for a short period of time and an advisory was issued for other motorists to exercise caution while driving as the dust settled.
