Although IT city Bengaluru hasn’t had much of a politicised student body, the city has seen youngsters and adults alike protesting against Hyderabad University and the union government for the circumstances under which Rohith Vemula killed himself.

While protests in Town Hall, Freedom Park and individual hunger strikes too have been initiated, on January 29, a Facebook user put up photos of rudimentary graffiti – mostly Rohith’s name and stencil paintings of him – from across Bengaluru.

While giving permission to use the photographs, the user requested anonymity. Here are some of the photos taken from various places across Bengaluru:

The only description that accompanied this image was that it was on the walls of a metro station.

This was at a bus stop.

This, stencil painting, on an "air force compound wall", resembles the ones found all over Hyderabad University.

Speaks for itself.

No mention of place.
