Image: Screenshot from 'Mohalla Assi' leaked trailer A leaked trailer of Sunny Deol-starrer, “Mohalla Assi,” released on Tuesday, has been doing the rounds on social media. The movie, which is set in modern day Benares or Varanasi, revolves around how the "ghat city" has morphed from a holy city into a tourist spot. Straying from his usual action roles, Sunny Deol, who plays a Brahmin, is seen using a range of cuss words like "b*****ke". The film also stars "Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki" actress Sakshi Tanwar as Deol’s wife (who herself is a potty-mouth) and Ravi Kishan, who plays a guide. Here are some other colourful dialogues from the trailer: "Kaun Sanskrit pad raha hai? Sab s***e Charas, Ganja aur Benares mai rukne ka bahana doond rahe hai" "Oye c****ye! Jahaan tune mujhe rakha hai woh mandir hai ya maachis?" "Mineral water chaiye to kahin aur jao, b****ke, Ganga mein huamara vishwas abhi atal hai." The film was originally shot in 2011, but reportedly went through some financial hurdles and is now looking for a late 2015 release. Many on Twitter, while praising the audacity of the film, wondered how the censor board will allow such a bold movie to be released, given the fact that there it mocks religious figures and is laced with expletives. Ironically, the film is directed by filmmaker Chandraprakash Diwedi, who also happens to be on the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
