
Actor and model Milind Soman, added the 'Ironman title' to his achievements after he completed a triathlon held in Zurich in Switzerland in less than 16 hours.Milind who turns 50 this year, participated in the triathlon, which is widely regarded as the world’s toughest race and includes a 3.8 km swim, 180.2 km cycle ride and 42.2 km run. Speaking to The Indian Express, Milind said "I wanted to gift myself something special in my 50th year and I am glad I could do this. I prepared really well and it was a great experience.”Seven Indians participated in the race this year out of which five completed the race. They were led by 11 time title winner Dr Kaustubh Radkar from Pune, who completed the race in 12 hours and 32 minutes.This is Dr Radkar’s 12th Ironman title which now qualifies him for the Hawaii Ironman World Championship to be held in 2017, the report adds.
