Chinese smartphone maker Realme has launched a premium device, the Realme X2 Pro, in the Indian market that will take on some of the other Chinese models already available in the country like the OnePlus 7T and the Redmi K20 Pro.

The key specifications of this new model include a 6.5inch Super AMOLED Fluid display that is full HD+ in resolution of 1080x2400 pixels. The aspect ratio has been kept at 20:9 and a screen to body ratio of 91.7%. The screen gets protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The display has a refresh rate of 90Hz.

The processor under the hood is the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC. RAM support comes in three variants, 6GB, 8GB and 12GB. Onboard storage too is in three variants 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. The storage type is UFS 2.1 in the first case and UFS 3.0 in the next two. The Android Pie version 9.0 OS, with ColorOS 6.1 on top as the user interface will run this Realme device.

The supporting lenses are a 13MP telephoto lens, an 8MP wide-angle camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The front selfie camera features a 16MP sensor, which sports the Sony IMX471 lens.

The battery matches these specs at 4,000mAh and Realme is providing a 50W SuperVOOC Flash Charge support. The company claims the phone can be charged in just 33 minutes to full charge. The complete connectivity options are provided and the onboard sensors are also adequately equipped with an under-display fingerprint sensor for unlocking the phone.

The prices of the Realme X2 Pro in the Indian market are as below:

The Realme X2 Pro 8GB + 64GB variant will be sold @₹29,999. The 12GB + 256GB model will sell @ ₹33,999 and there is a special Realme X2 Pro Master Edition fashioned by Naoto Fukasawa which will have the same 12Gb + 256GB specs but will be priced @ͅ₹34,999.

The sale of this phone starts on November 26 on Flipkart and Realme online store. The company is holding a special 36-hour sale on its site and this is through invitation and only limited people are being invited through Twitter which will go out on November 21. The first day’s buyers on their site will receive free Realme Buds Wireless device worth Rs. 1,799.
