Lenovo, the current owner of the brand Motorola has launched its Moto G8 Plus in the Indian market and the device will be sold through Flipkart beginning October 29. The phone is positioned as a mid-segment offering with decent specs and a price of Rs 13,999.

The Moto G8 Plus has a 6.3-inch IPS LCD Max Vision display that has an aspect ratio of 19:9. The full HD+ screen resolution is 1080x2340 pixels. The Processor fitted on this device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665SoC and the RAM support 4GB. Graphics are taken care of by the Adreno610 GPU. The onboard storage on this device is 64GB. The provision for a microSD card has also been provided; it’s a hybrid slot. The OS is stock Android Pie version 9.0 out of the box.

It’s a triple camera setup in the rear with a 48MP primary sensor. The secondary unit is a 16MP wide-angle camera while the third 5MP lens is a depth sensor. An LED flash supports the arrangement. The front camera for selfies is a 25MP shooter. There’s a fingerprint sensor in the back panel. The battery is 4,000mAh and comes with support for 15W TurboPower 2 ultra-fast charging.

The connectivity options in this Moto G8 Plus smartphone include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, NFC, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio socket, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors onboard include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, fingerprint reader, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and a magnetometer.

Cosmic Blue and Crystal Pink are the two colour options.

The Moto G8 Plus with the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage combination carries a price of Rs 13,999 for the Indian market. As mentioned, the phone goes on sale from October 29 on Flipkart.
