If you love using Snapchat, Instagram, making fun videos about your day is set to get a lot  easier.  Apple is now launching its own version of video-making, story-telling app. The tech giant announced Clips, its new app that makes quick and fun videos on an iPhone and iPad.

Now while a comparison to Snapchat and Instagram is almost unavoidable, Clips is a lot different. For starters, it’s not a social network platform in itself. The app lets you edit and combine video clips, photos and music to make videos that can then be shared on social media.

One unique feature in Clips is Live Titles, which lets you create animated captions and titles using just your voice. Additionally, the app also has features like comic book filters, animated posters and speech bubbles.

According to Apple, Clips is your solution to complicated editing tools.

“Touch and hold a single button to shoot live video and photos, or add them from the Photo Library. Then add artistic filters, speech bubbles, shapes or emoji. Clips has dozens of music soundtracks to choose from, and they automatically adjust to match the length of a video,” the company said in a statement.

It even prompts you to send it to those who appear in the video or to frequently used contacts.

Clips will be available for free from the beginning of April. To use clips, Aple devices must be running iOS 10.3. It is only compatible with iPhones starting from the 5s. For iPads, it is compatible with the new 9.7-inch iPad, all iPad Air and iPad Pro models, iPad mini 2 and later and the iPod touch 6th generation.
