Apple Inc has soft-launched its new AirPods Pro, an advanced version of the AirPods. The product goes on sale from October 30.
The key features of this new gadget are that they have the noise cancellation arrangement so that listening to your favourite music or having a voice call conversation outdoors do not get affected by the sounds around you. The other important feature is that it is sweat and water resistant. This would be a boon to those doing workouts while wearing the AirPods in their ears.
As far as the battery power is concerned, Apple claims it can last for 4 ½ hours of continuous use on a full charge. That’s as far as listening to music is concerned. In terms of talk time it can go on for 3 ½ hours. There is a fast charging feature as well, where Apple claims that just five minutes of charging is sufficient for the AirPods Pro to last a full hour of use.
If you own any of Apple’s devices, iPhones, iPads or even an Apple Watch, you can go for these new earbuds from Apple. Just make sure that the operating system on your it is iOS 13.2 or later, iPadOS 13.2 or later, watchOS 6.1 or later, tvOS 13.2 or later, or macOS Catalina 10.15.1 or later in the respective devices.
Apple has also introduced flexible silicon ear tips to be used with the new AirPods Pro and it available in three sizes. There is another special feature, Adaptive EQ in these new gadgets. This enables to device to automatically adjust the music being played for best listening. You can switch to the transparency mode as well from the noise cancellation mode if you wish to.
Though Apple has announced the price for the AirPods Pro for the Indian market Rs 24,900, it is not clear when they would be available here for purchase. In the US market, the AirPods Pro is priced at $249.
