Writer and director Rajasimha, who had penned Allu Arjun’s role in Rudramadevi, will be making his debut in the Kannada film industry with Buckaasuura.

Reports suggest that Rohitt, who played a pivotal role in Karvva was keen on roping in Rajasimha for this project as he wanted it to be out of the ordinary. Incidentally, Allu Arjun has won awards for the role Rajasimha had carved out for him and this prompted Rohitt to bring him into Buckaasuura.

On bagging the offer, Rajasimha has been quoted by the Times of India as saying, “I have been working in the Telugu film industry as a writer for nearly 20 years. I know the director, Navneeth Kumar, and met Rohitt through him. We had zeroed-in on one script, but Navneeth and Rohitt wanted something more exciting and new, since they wanted Ravichandran sir to play an important role. I narrated the script of ‘Buckaasuura’ for 20 minutes at Ravichandran sir's house and all of them immediately said yes to it.”

On the film, the writer has said that the audiences are keen to watch realistic movies these days and look for a different approach in every film. Rajasimha added that he is happy to have convinced veteran actor V Ravichandran and Rohitt with the script. He further pointed out that he is ready to work in the Kannada film industry henceforth.

Avinash is composing the tunes for this flick with Mohan cranking the camera and Venkatesh UDV roped in for editing.

The film is helmed by director Naveenth who had wielded the megaphone for Karvva. Interestingly, Rohitt has retained the core technical that had worked with him in Karvva.

While Rohitt plays the lead role in the film, it is Kavya Gowda who is pairing up with him as his heroine.
