Former IPS officer and newly elected Lt Governor of Puducherry, Kiran Bedi, will assume office on Monday. And to give the oath-taking ceremony on Sunday its touch of silver screen glamour, Bedi has invited actors Rajinikanth and Vijay.
The two actors have received invitations to attend the oath-taking ceremony from the Puducherry government, issued on behalf of Kiran Bedi.
Madras High Court Chief Justice SK Kaul will administer the oath at the event.
Prior to Bedi’s appointment, Ajay Kumar Singh, Lt Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands also held additional charge as the Puducherry Governor.
