It was reported a few days ago that 'Power Star' Pawan Kalyan will be seen starring in the remake of the Akshay Kumar starrer Jolly LLB 2

According to sources in the industry, Pawan is keen on starring in this remake because it is a film with a social message. The star, considering his political background, wants to spread out socially-relevant messages through his films and is eyeing this remake.

Pawan, in fact, has a strong penchant for remakes. Some of his recent films that have been remade from other languages are Sardar Gabbar Singh, which is a remake of the Salman Khan hit flick Dabangg and Katamarayudu, a remake of the Ajith starrer Veeram.

There are also reports that he may go on to star in the remake of Ajith’s Vedhalam.

The actor is currently busy playing the lead role in the Trivikram Srinivas directorial which has not been titled yet. The actor and director are teaming up for the third time after coming out with two blockbuster hits - Jalsa and Attarintiki Daaredi.

There are huge hopes that they might score a hat trick together again with this upcoming film.

While Pawan Kalyan plays the lead role in this film, sharing the screen space with him are actors Keerthy Suresh and Anu Emmanuel.

Interestingly, veteran actor Kushbhoo, who had stayed away from donning the greasepaint for a long time now, will be staging her comeback.

Sonu Sood has been signed up to play the antagonist in this flick, which happens to be Pawan’s 25th film.

Music director Anirudh is foraying in to the Telugu film industry with this project, as it is his first direct Telugu movie. The film is being bankrolled by S Radha Krishna under the banner Haarika & Hassine Creations.
