The News Minute | December 6, 2014| 5.35 pm ISTRajdeep Sardesai’s book ‘The Election that changed India’ was launched at the annual Goa Arts and Literary Festival on Friday and top BJP leader and Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar was at the event, showing his support for the senior journalist by attending the event. This move unfortunately did not go down well with the right wingers on social media as they took to twitter to show their dissatisfaction with their presence at the event. It is not just Parrikar, but defense minister Arun Jaitley who had earlier released the book in New Delhi, who came under severe criticism. Both the leaders received flak on their respective turfs – Jaitley for attending a book launch event organized by a journalist who has vested interest in anti-Modi ideologies according to the right wingers on social media and defense minister Parrikar for being at a book launch, while militant attacks lead to the death of 10 Indian Army soldiers on Friday in Jammu and Kashmir.Disgusting to see @arunjaitley & @manoharparrikar attend book launch of failed journalist who has only malice toward Hindus & @narendramodi— Sumukh Naik (@SumukhNaik) December 6, 2014dear @manoharparrikar - you have disappointed like nobody... it was expected of @arunjaitley but not you !! shame !! newstrader book launch— Viraj - Indian (@viraj21_Indian) December 6, 2014RTIf you want @arunjaitley to say sorry to Millions of BJP supporters for attending @sardesairajdeep Book Launch pic.twitter.com/DdY0cD6Yan— Rishi Bagree (@rishibagree) November 8, 2014@narendramodi Kindly convert @arunjaitley to BJP first.
