Actor-producer N Kalyan Ram is busy with his upcoming film MLA - Manchi Lakshanaalu Unna Abbay right now. Playing the female lead in the film is Kajal Agarwal and the actor is pretty excited over the role she has bagged.
Reports about the role she is playing in the movie have been doing rounds for some time now and we hear that Kajal Agarwal plays a multi-millionaire’s daughter in it. She is an NRI arriving into the country on a hidden agenda and what it Is, forms the suspense as well as the crux of the story.
Written and directed by Upendra Madhav, MLA is a family entertainer that is being produced by Kiran Reddy and Bharath Chowdary and presented by T G Vishwa Prasad under the banners Blue Planet Entertainments and People Media Factory.
Upendra Madhav is making his directorial debut with this flick after working as associate director and writer in films such as Bruce Lee, Aagadu, Baadshah, Shadow (2013 film), Dookudu, Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda, Manodu and Toss.
Starring Kalyan Ram and Kajal Agarwal as the lead pair, the film’s star cast also includes Manali Rathod, Vennela Kishore, Brahmanandam and Lasya. The actor, who is looking for a big hit after his most recent flicks Sher and Ism turned out to be box office duds, is hopeful that MLA would give him the break needed.
Mani Sharma is composing music for this flick with Prasad Murella working with the camera and Tammi Raju signed up for editing. Reports suggest that the shooting of this film is coming to a close and the team is looking to release it early next year. However, the exact date is yet to be decided.
It may be mentioned here that Nandamuri Kalyan Ram had produced his brother Jr NTR’s Jai Lava Kusa and the film released in September this year. His last outing an actor was with Ism which released last year.
The action crime thriller was directed by Puri Jagannath. The film had Aditi Arya as the female lead with Jagapathi Babu in a pivotal role.
