Director SS Rajamouli is busy with the prep work to get his next movie on floors. The director earlier announced that the film will have Jr NTR and Ram Charan Teja in the lead roles. The duo returned from the US completing the test photo shoot.

A few weeks ago, the team also unveiled the first look of the film with the title RRR, which stands for the three Rs – Rajamouli, Rama Rao and Ram Charan – associated with the film. The shooting of this film is scheduled to begin later this year. The film is going to be produced by ace producer DVV Dhanayya under his banner DVV Entertainment. There have been various speculations about the film's budget.

Well, according to the latest reports, the producer has earmarked around Rs 250 crores for his ambitious project. The huge budget under the DVV banner may be a big surprise for many, but considering the fact that the film will be released in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil, it is nothing to be astonished about.

SS Rajamouli, for five years, had been concentrating on his prestigious project Baahubali: the Beginning and Baahubali: the Conclusion, which went on to become a massive hit. The total budget of both these films was estimated to be around Rs 450 crores. Baahubali: the Conclusion alone raked in over Rs 1600 crores at the box office.

The shooting of this film is expected to begin in August this year. In the meantime, Ram Charan would be completing his film with director Boyapati Srinu while Jr Ntr would be done with the Trivkram Srinivas directorial.

Expectations are high on the film as it is not only a multi-starrer but also the fact that it happens to be SS Rajamouli’s first film after the massive success of the Baahubali franchise, which took five years of his time.

The director’s upcoming multi-starrer is, therefore, one of the most expected films in the industry. With the two young heroes of Tollywood getting to share the screen space for the first time, movie buffs are excited. And the humongous budget is one more reason to look forward to it!
