The fifth edition of the Yes Bank – Wharton India Startup challenge, announced by the 22nd Wharton India Economic Forum (WIEF) has declared its 20 finalists. The challenge, which began in August this year, will see top 10 finalists compete for $20,000 in prizes, a chance to win the Judges Award and People’s Choice Award, and more, according to an Inc42 report.

The Yes Bank – Wharton India Startup challenge offers startups in India a platform to interact and connect with investors and industry stalwarts from the Indian startup ecosystem.

The startup challenge jury will include investors and VCs such as – Rehan Yar Khan, Managing Partner, ‎Orios Venture Partners; Sandeep Murthy, Partner, Lightbox Ventures, Shivani Bhasin Sachdeva MD and CEO, India Alternatives; Karan Mohla, Executive Director, IDG Ventures India; Preeti Sinha, Senior President and Global Convenor, YES INSTITUTE at Yes Bank Limited and Vishal Khare, Director, Enterprise, Citrix India and Angel Investor.

The competition will also feature a Startup Exhibit where the top 10 finalists along with the other 10 selected startups will be hosted. As per the Inc42 report, these finalists can avail fundraising services from LetsVenture and Baytree. They can also access WeWork India co-working space.

Meet the startups:

Anaxee: Indore-based Anaxee Digital Runners is a tech-enabled last-mile verification and data collection agency, which helps corporates reach the remotest parts of India.

Saral Design: This Mumbai-based startup makes affordable sanitary napkins.

Ruban Bridge is a rural marketing services startup that delivers last mile reach to corporates, bringing their products and services to rural consumers. It also builds capacity in rural entrepreneurs. 

Draft Spotting Technologies operates, an AI-driven contract lifecycle management platform SpotDraft aimed at small businesses to help them draft contracts, send automated invoices and payment reminders.

SoundRex ihas a patent pending technology for wrist-worn speaker band that can be used in large-scale events such as concerts and corporate events.

Eduvanz Financing gives financial assistance to help make education accessible.

Gamezop is a casual gaming startup, which lets you play games with weblinks without haiving to download an app to play.

Confirmtkt is a ticket search engine for travel tickets, which also helps users figure out the best possible options across trains and buses

Perpule runs 1Pay, a self-checkout app for express checkouts and easy payments in stores such Hypercity and Spar.

PlexusMD is linkedIn for medical professionals and healthcare organisations.

Tech solution builder for specially abled Innovision, Signzy, Warehousing solutions provider Ware Now Services, digital lending platform Capzest, T-Hub-based BulBul Apps, a startup that creates interactive content for kids, Maximl Labs, which helps empower industries with next gen technologies and online peer-to-peer lending platform Luharia Technologies
