Kollywood is gearing up for a big fat star wedding. Tamil star Chiyaan Vikram's daughter Akshita is all set to get engaged to Manu Ranjith, son of entrepreneur and founder of Cavin Kare, CK Ranganathan. The engagement ceremony is set to take place in July while the wedding is scheduled for next year.
According to sources, the couple have been in a relationship for a while and are finally set to exchange wedding vows with the consent of their parents. The families are currently busy scouting for a hotel venue. Vikram wants the engagement ceremony to be a low-key affair with only close friends and family invited.
Vikram, who is currently busy wrapping up "Iru Mugan", will take a week off from his busy schedule to make necessary arrangements for the engagement.
