The teaser for Vishal’s Action, directed by Sundar C, was released on Friday. The teaser makes it needless to say that the title is very apt. The one-minute video has plenty of action sequences with guns, dirt bikes, bikes, ATVs (the shooting of which reportedly caused an injury), motor boats and cars. Name any vehicle and they’ve got it. There’s even a plane in it!

Vishal is forever on the run in the teaser. He’s dangerously falling off balconies, long jumping across terraces while delivering the strongest of kicks and flying on bikes. In one shot, he even does a backbend, with his legs twisted around the railing of a bridge, to save a falling woman (Tamannaah)!

Amidst all the high action drama, Vishal manages to romance with yet another heroine, Aishwarya Lekshmi, in a brightly lit, flower-decorated courtyard.

The teaser also has Tamannaah who is sometimes on the run with Vishal. The teaser features the words ‘When the brave rise’ followed by its title.

Action has been shot in various picturesque locations in Turkey and Azerbaijan. Directed by Sundar C, the film has been produced by Trident Arts R Ravindran. Popular cinematographer Dudley who has worked in Bollywood films like Dilwale, Jagga Jasoos has worked on this film while Srikanth NB has edited it. This film has music by Hip Hop Tamizha.

In addition to Action, Vishal has confirmed that he will be reuniting with Mysskin for the sequel of their 2017 film Thupparivaalan. Composer Ilaiyaraaja has been roped in to score the music. It has already been confirmed that Prasanna will return to play his character from the first part. The rest of the cast, however, is yet to be finalised for Thupparivaalan 2. A source close to Vishal confirmed that the film will be produced by the actor and will roll from November after the completion of Sundar C’s project.
