The film has Malayalam actor/director Lal playing an important role and also stars Nishanth, Vaishali, Rekha, Raja, Sambathram, Cheran Raj in lead roles.

19-year-old Sivathmika has been roped in to compose music for this film and the cinematography will be handled by R Balaji.

Actor Lal is also part of the multilingual Saaho in the pipeline, which stars Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor, and has been regarded as the second most expensive Indian film to be made after Baahubali. Lal was last seen in 2015 in the Tamil film Chandi Veeran, starring Atharvaa.

A number of filmmakers are now dabbling with the thriller genre and are attempting to give their films a unique edge over the others.

Karthik Subbaraj’s Mercury, which released in April is one such film. The silent thriller, starring Sananth Reddy, Deepak Paramesh, Anish Padman, Shashank, Remya Nambeesan, and also Prabhu Deva in a pivotal role, received overwhelmingly positive reviews on its release.

The film’s crew included Sathees Kumar as the production designer, Santhosh Narayanan handling the music, and S Thirunavakkarasu working the camera.

Another upcoming film in this trend is Amutha by PS Arjun which also seems to be a thriller. The film stars Sriya Sree, Anees Shaz, Levin Simon Joseph, Ashna Sudheer, Baby Ileanor, Assisi Gibson and a bevy of other debut actors.
