The teaser of Vijay Deverakonda’s much awaited political thriller NOTA was released on Wednesday. A Tamil-Telugu bilingual directed by Irumugan fame Anand Shankar, the film’s teaser shows the Arjun Reddy star in another strong appearance on screen.
The 30-second teaser is a sneak-peek into the premise of the film which shows the transition of Vijay from being a carefree youth into a mass political leader. The teaser begins with the actor dancing and boozing at parties while the later part shows him donning the hat of a politician, dressed in white and moving in convoys amidst crowds. The thumping BGM adds power to the 30-second teaser of the movie, touted to be a mass political entertainer.
The trailer of NOTA will be released on September 6 at 4pm.
Vijay has dubbed for himself in Tamil for his character in this political thriller. The film has Mehreen as the leading lady and Chennai’s supermodel Sanchana Natarajan essays a key role. This will be the second film in Tamil for Mehreen after Nenjil Thunivirundhal.
NOTA is produced by KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green. The technical crew of the film includes Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy for music and CS Shyam for cinematography.
Vijay's recently released Geetha Govindam turned out to be a superhit and has managed to reach the Rs 50 crore club. On its 12th day at the box office,Geetha Govindam grossed Rs 52 crores. The film still has a few days left at the box office and the final figures will be out officially soon.
Vijay has Taxiwala which has Malavika Nair as his co-star and Dear Comrade lined up for release.
