The teaser of Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi released on Saturday morning and proves to be an action packed fest tailored for the star’s fans.

At the start of the teaser Mahesh Babu is seen walking down a corridor in a suave, dapper suit. Next a helicopter is seen flying over a foreign city. As it lands, we see a shot of the star stepping out and walking.

“There are no fullstops in success, only commas,” says the star in the next shot. This is followed by a montage of several action sequences.

It was earlier reported that Mahesh Babu would be donning five different get-ups in the film in his role which showcases the journey and transitions of a character from college to becoming a successful businessman.

The movie, directed by Vamsi Paidapally and produced by C. Ashwini Dutt, Dil Raju and Prasad V. Potluri, under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies, Sri Venkateswara Creations and PVP Cinema.

Pooja Hegde, who was last seen opposite Allu Arjun in the film Duvvada Jagannadham, is playing the lead in this film. The film is about three friends played by Mahesh Babu, Allari Naresh and Pooja Hegde. It also has veteran actor Jayapradha playing a pivotal role. The music has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad and Cinematography is being handled by K U Mohanan. The film will hit the screens on May 9.

One song from the film has been released so far, Choti Choti Baatein, which was released on March 29.

After the success of his last venture Bharat Ane Nenu, which was directed by Koratala Siva, expectations are high for this movie. The movie saw the star assaying the role of a Chief Minister for the first time. It has been reported that Maharshi will be centered around farmers’ issues.
