The makers of Chiranjeevi’s upcoming flick Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy released the teaser of the movie on Tuesday. The movie, which is on the historic tale of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, has Chiranjeevi playing the titular role. The actor, who is back on screen after a gap of two years, is in top form, performing high octane stunt sequences with ease.

The teaser is a glimpse into the valour of Narasimha Reddy who once had the Englishmen of Reenaadu village in Andhra on their toes. The voice-over, dubbed by Pawan Kalyan, describes Narasimha Reddy as a warrior concealed in the pages of history, a hero who waged a war against the English for the first time. The teaser has a valiant Chiranjeevi as Narasimha Reddy, making a clarion call to the warriors of the Reenaadu village, to begin the fight though their names might never be etched in the annals of history.

The film is releasing in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi, with superstars Rajinikanth and Mohanlal lending their voices for dubbing in their respective languages.

As it was evident from the making video of the film, the teaser of Sye Raa too is high on explosive action sequences. The one-minute long teaser gives us a glimpse of the other stars in the movie, including Vijay Sethupathi, who is making his Telugu debut with Sye Raa. Amitabh Bachchan is playing Sye Raa’s mentor and Nayanthara and Tammannah have pivotal roles.

Directed by Surender Reddy, the stunt sequences of the film have been choreographed by Hollywood stuntmen Lee Withaker and George Powell.  The movie has grand VFX by Kamal Kannan and the editing has been done by Sreekar Prasad. Bollywood music director Amit Trivedi has scored a thumping background score for the Chiranjeevi movie.

Sye Raa is being bankrolled by Ram Charan Teja under his home banner Konidela Production Company on a budget of Rs 200 crore. The film, which was earlier expected to hit screens on August 15, will now make it to the theatres in October.
