The trailer of actor and music composer Vijay Antony’s upcoming movie Vijaya Raghavan was released by actor Rana Daggubati on Monday, August 2. Touted to be an action political drama, the movie stars Aathmika opposite Vijay Antony. The movie is set to release in Tamil as Kodiyil Oruvan. Sharing the trailer of Vijaya Raghavan, Rana confirmed that the movie will release in theatres. “@vijayantony’s #VijayaRaghavan Fantastic trailer Best wishes to the team! The trailer features Vijay Antony as a tutor and IAS aspirant who fights injustice, setting the tone for a political thriller. Written and directed by Ananda Krishan, the movie’s cast also includes Ramachandra Raju and Prabhakar, among others. Vijaya Raghavan is produced by TD Rajha and DR Sanjay Kumar under the banner of Chendur Film International, while it is co-produced by Kamal Bohra, Lalitha Dhananjayan, B Pradeep, Pankaj Bohra and S Vikram Kumar. The technical crew includes Nivas K Prasanna as music composer, NS Uthaya Kumar as the cinematographer and Vijay Antony as the editor.
Mahesh Mathew has been roped in as the stunt choreographer, while the music distribution rights have been bagged by audio label Saregama. The film was initially slated to hit the big screens in April this year. Vijay Antony is all set to make his directorial debut with Pichaikkaran 2, which is the sequel of the actor’s hit 2016 Tamil film Pichaikkaran. On July 24, director AR Murugadoss took to Twitter to announce the news to fans. “Welcome to the Director’s Clan ‘Director’ @vijayantony Wishing you the very best for #Pichaikkaran2 & #Bichagadu2 Blockbuster 2022 ahead for you! (sic).” He also unveiled the title poster of Pichaikkaran 2.
