The makers of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Chiranjeevi’s upcoming flick, released the making video of the movie on Wednesday. Produced by Ram Charan’s home banner Konidela Production, the film unit wrapped the shooting of the movie only recently after Sye Raa was announced almost two years back. From the video released, it is evident that the makers took so long to finish shooting the film because of the explosive action sequences. The film narrates the struggle of Indian freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.

The video is a sneak-peek into the making of Sye Raa, which was mostly shot in sets erected in and around Hyderabad, with the war sequences being reportedly shot in the jungles of Georgia.

Directed by Surender Reddy, the video also introduces us to Amitabh Bacchan who is playing the role of Narasimha Reddy’s mentor, Kannada actor Kiccha Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi and lady superstar Nayanthara along with Tammannah, Jagapathi Babu and Niharika. Bollywood music director Amit Trivedi has scored a thumping BGM for the Chiranjeevi movie.

Touted to be one of the first civil rebellions against the British Empire, the movie has plenty of action and war sequences, with Hollywood stunt men Lee Withaker and George Powell roped in as the stunt masters. The movie has grand VFX by Kamal Kannan and the editing has been done by Sreekar Prasad.

Sye Raa had made it to the headlines after its sets were gutted twice in the outskirts of Hyderabad. The film unit had also faced obstacles at Bidar Fort where the locals had objected to the shooting of the film in the area of worship.

Recently, a group of people who identified themselves as the kin of Sye Raa, had staged a protest in front of Ram Charan’s office in Hyderabad, allegedly demanding money before the release of the movie.

Sye Raa is being bankrolled by Ram Charan Teja under his home banner Konidela Production Company on a budget of Rs 200 crore. The film, which was earlier expected to hit screens on August 15, will now make it to the theatres during Dasara. The movie will be released in five languages- Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
