With only a few days left for its worldwide release, a one-minute sneak preview of the making of Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam 2 was released on Monday.

Kamal, known for his impressive behind-the-scene efforts, shines through in this making video, performing a good portion of the stunts himself.

And as seen in the trailer, Andrea too has a good number of stunt sequences. In this video, she is seen climbing ropes and even sparring with Kamal in another sequence.

It was reported in Times of India that the climax scenes in Vishwaroopam, featuring an aerial fight, was choreographed by Hollywood stuntman Lee Whittaker. It was also reported that the stunt crew flew down from Thailand to work on the prequel.

Written, directed and co-produced by Kamal Haasan, Vishwaroopam 2 is the sequel to his 2013 action thriller Vishwaroopam. The film’s cinematography has been done by Shamdat Sainuddeen and has music by Gibran.

The trailers of the film were released on June 11 and June 30.

While Kamal has retained most of the cast from the first film, he has roped in Waheeda Rahman and Anant Mahadevan in the sequel.

The film stars Kamal Haasan, Rahul Bose, Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah and Shekhar Kapur in lead roles. Kamal plays Captain Wisam Ahmad Kashmiri, a soldier-turned-espionage agent.

Interestingly, unlike Vishwaroopam, which created a furore among fringe groups who called for a ban, Vishwaroopam 2 has not run into any such controversies this time. The film is all set to hit the screens this Friday.

In addition to Vishwaroopam 2, Kamal Haasan also has Sabash Naidu and Indian 2, which are in different stages of production. His production house, Raj Kamal Films, has signed a film with Vikram and Akshara Haasan in the lead.
