What better way to get rid of mid-week blues than watching this 26-year-old freestyle footballer from Bengaluru’s Pai Layout, perform gravity-defying tricks around the city.

Satish better known as Satish ‘Sean’ in the professional football freestyle circuit, is a self-taught football freestyler. Freestyle Football is the art of performing tricks with a football using any part of the body.

Known for his flamboyant style, he can perform over 200 tricks with a football and can keep you captivated for hours with his stunning techniques.

“I was inspired by Arnaud “Sean” Garnier, a French freestyle footballer. I would watch his videos on YouTube and spend every spare moment to teach myself. I started doing a lot of Sean’s tricks, so Bengaluru freestylers started calling me Sean. Later, Sean became my stage name,” Satish told The News Minute.

Although he has been training for the past seven years, his big break came when he became the city qualifier of Red Bull Streetstyle in 2014. He went to on to become the number one football freestyler in Karnataka, winning the soccer eve Football Freestyler for Karnataka Football Competition in 2015.

Satish practices for 4-5 hours every day, working on his choreography and his tricks. He now has his eyes on setting a Guinness world record for eye stall, head stall and side stall tricks.

Satish is currently seeking sponsorship to help him achieve this feat. The video has been created by 4play.in, an adventure sports channel that produces and curates stories about extreme and adventure sports.
