Weeks after releasing the first official poster, the makers of Malayalam film “Ore Mugham” have put out the teaser on Friday.
The teaser, which is hardly a minute long, is intriguing and is sure to make the audience want to see more of the film. Did we mention that Dhyan Sreenivasan, who plays the male lead, sports a fetching beard and moustache in this campus story set in the 1980s?
Scheduled to be released in the first week of November, "Ore Mugham" looks faithful to the period in which it is set. The bright floral costumes and the neatly combed hair of the characters are sure to succeed in taking you back a couple of decades.
The film is the directorial debut of Sajith Jagadnandan. Aju Varghese and Pragaya Martin are also part of the cast.
The plot supposedly spans two stages of life, one of which is the college days set in the 1980s. In the teaser, Zachariah Pothen - played by Dhyan Sreenivasan - appears to be the archetypal angry young man who goes on a victory march after thrashing his college rivals.
A considerable portion of the film that “celebrates friendship” was shot at the famous Sree Kerala Varma College in Thrissur.
