Watch: ‘Android Kunjappan Version 5.25’ trailer with Suraj, Soubin and a robot looks fun
When the teaser of Android Kunjappan Version 5.25 was out it was dubbed to be impressive. Now, the official trailer of this Malayalam film is out online and it delves on the lead characters and mainly on the robot, which is the center of attraction. The trailer looks fun.
It shows Suraj Venjaramoodu and Soubin Shahir play a father and son. Suraj with a balding head of greys and a beard plays the conventional man who doesn’t seem to like machines of any sort and Soubin plays the complaining son. You see a white robot enter their lives and Suraj’s character conversing with it. When the robot comments that in Japan if you like someone you express it, the old man says sarcastically, “here, we rape or set the person on fire.”
The film is written and directed by debutant Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval. Apart from Soubin and Suraj, the film has in its cast Saiju Kuruppu, Mala Parvathy and Megha Mathew. Android Kunjappan Version 5.25 is bankrolled by Santhosh T Kuruvila under the banner Moon Shot Entertainments.
The film’s technical crew includes Sanu John Varghese for the camera, Saiju Sreedharan for editing and Bijibal for music. Android Kunjappan Version 5.25 is set for release on November 8 and the post-production is happening in full swing.
It may be noted here that Soubin and Suraj last shared the screen space in Vikruthi, which had hit the marquee some time ago. The film also featured Vincy, Surabhi Santosh, Mamukoya, Baburaj, and Sudheer Karamana in important roles. Well known ad filmmaker MC Joseph debuted as a director with Vikruthi.
While Android Kunjappan Version 5.25 is getting ready for release, Soubin is busy with his own directorial. The film, which will be his second as a director, has Kunchacko Boban in the lead role. The first film he directed is Parava, which starred Dulquer Salmaan and Shane Nigam, along with the two child protagonists.
