Actor Amy Jackson, who will be seen sharing screen space with Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar in director Shankar’s upcoming sci-fi thriller 2.0, posted a short clip of her practising a stunt move for the film. The slow-motion video clip shows the actor doing a front flip with the help of a harness. She bounces off from the bike, flips across a stacked row of cardboard boxes and lands squarely on the cushions placed on the ground.

“Before we started filming for 2.0, some of the best action choreographers flew into to Chennai to begin stunt prep. This is from our first practice session! We shot everything in slo-mo so we could see my mistakes and work out the timings for the ropes before we shot the real thing,” she wrote on her Instagram post.

This video promises to be an action-packed film and perhaps has given Amy a great opportunity to experiment with her role.

On Saturday, the video of the song 'Endhira Logathu Sundariye' was released. The song has been crooned by Sid Sriram and Shashaa Tirupati and composed by AR Rahman. Both Amy Jackson and Rajinikanth are seen wearing robotic suits, zipping past on hovercrafts.

2.0 has a strong technical crew with Nirav Shah cranking the camera, T Muthuraj taking care of the production design and Anthony editing the film. The film has renowned action directors Kenny Bates, Seteve Griffin and Nick Powell from Hollywood and Silva from Kollywood. The film will be released in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu, besides being dubbed in 12 other languages.

Touted to be Asia’s costliest ventures, the film is bankrolled by A Subhaskaran under his banner Lyca Productions. Made on a staggering budget of Rs 500 crore, it has been completely shot in 3D.

2.0 is two hours and 28 minutes long (148 minutes) and was given U/A certificate a few days ago. The film has been scheduled to hit the screens on November 29.
