The makers of Argentina Fans Kaattoorkadavu (AFK) released a tribute video for the football legend Lionel Messi prior to the film’s release this Friday and it is going viral. The video featuring some of the golden moments of the legendary footballer, has background score by Gopi Sunder with Kalidas Jayaram doing the voice over which goes like, "Then, now and until last breath... Vamos Argentina!"

Kalidas Jayaram’s upcoming film Argentina Fans Kaattoorkadavu will hit the marquee on March 22, confirmed its director Midhun Manuel Thomas. The film, which has Kalidas and Aishwarya Lekshmi as the lead pair, is set around the three football world cups ranging from 2010 to 2018. While Kalidas plays a youngster named Vipinan, Aishwarya Lekshmi will be seen as Meharunissa Kadharkutty. In the movie, they are childhood friends residing in the same village. Besides the lead pair, the film will also feature a set of newbies.

According to reports, the crux of Argentina Fans Kaattoorkadavu is taken from Ashokan Charuvil’s short story of the same title. The film’s screenplay has been penned jointly by its director Midhun Manuel Thomas and John Manthrickal, and it is bankrolled by Ashiq Usman under the banner Ashiq Usman Productions. The technical crew of this film includes Renadive for cinematography and Lijo Paul for editing.

The first look of Argentina Fans Kattoorkadavu was unveiled sometime ago and has garnered the attention of the film buffs. Gopi Sunder has composed the tunes for this flick with Renadive being the cinematographer and Lijo Paul taking care of the editing. On this football-based film, director Midhun Manuel Thomas had said earlier, “Not onlyArgentina fans, but all football fans can like..All real football fans appear in this film.”
