Vivo’s new smartphone for the Indian market is Vivo V15, a lower priced version of the Vivo V15 Pro. The Vivo V15 has a 6.53inches Ultra FullView display, with a full HD+ display.  The screen resolution reads 1080x2390pixels and almost the entire screen is available with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9.

The screen gets protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The MediaTek P70 processor will be the main engine with a RAM support of 6GB. 64GB will the internal storage capacity of this Vivo V15 smartphone with the provision for a microSD card that can lift it to 256GB. The Android Pie version 9.0 based UI Funtouch OS 9.0 will be the operating system.

The rear camera setup has three shooters, 12MP+8MP+5MP, the last one sporting a wide-angle lens. These are supported by the AI technology for focus and after shoot edits. The front selfie camera is a 32MP sensor that pops up from the top.

A powerful 4000mAh battery rounds up the hardware specs making this Vivo V15 smartphone quite attractive for the buyers. Royal Blue, Frozen Black and Glamour Red are the three colours in which the phone will be sold.

Vivo has announced a price tag of Rs 23,990 for the Indian market, which is Rs 5,000 less than the Vivo V15 Pro. This is basically positioning of the models which is also dictated by competition in the particular segment. In this case of the Vivo V15, for example, it is projected that it will take on Oppo F11.

The Vivo V15 will go on sale from April 1 across online channels such as Amazon.in, Flipkart, PayTm Mall, Tata CLiQ and the Vivo India E-Store. The phone will be sold through the offline stores as well.
