Pooja Kumar, who is best known for working along with Kamal Haasan in Vishwaroopam 1 and 2 and Uttama Villain, is all set to share screen space with Hollywood star Vince Vaughn.
Although an official announcement is awaited from the makers, Pooja has confirmed the news by retweeting a post by her friend.
The post read, “Congrats to my dear friend Pooja Kumar for landing a lead role alongside actor Vince Vaughn! From Hollywood to Bollywood you are killing it (sic)”.
Pooja is no stranger to Hollywood. Having already starred in the 2012 film ‘Man on Ledge’, she has also been a part of indie projects such as ‘Flavors’ and ‘Nights of Henna.’
Apparently, Pooja is expected to join the sets of this project by the end of this year and is expected complete all her pending work on Tamil projects such as Meenkuzhambbum Manpaanayum and Sivaranjiniyum Innum Silla Pengalum by then.
She is also busy shooting for a Telugu film alongside actor Rajasekhar, and she’s paired as his wife in this cop drama.
Director Praveen Sattaru was very keen on Pooja doing the role and used everything at his disposal to convince her to be a part of the project.
